over $100 million for critically needed services for people with AIDS, HIV or
HIV-related illnesses."

Why we support Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS…
As avid theatre-goers in New York City, we enjoy the special few weeks of the
year when the talented actors who have just transported you with their brilliant
performances make a curtain speech asking you to please donate
a few dollars to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights on your way out.
Cast members (still in full costume) hold the donation baskets, and you get to tell them personally
how much you liked the show (if you didn't like the show, you just throw in a dollar). Much like
Shop for Charity, it's an easy way to do a good thing.
